Founder and CEO THRULINE NETWORKS

As founder and CEO of Thruline Networks, Phil stitches together his wisdom across
a range of roles, including Naval Officer, C-suite executive, university professor, entrepreneur, intrapreneur and consultant. He has been a startup founder, executive
and investor, launching several companies in renewable energy, bioplastics, cleantech, AR/VR and digital marketing automation. His current interests include the application of living systems models to sustainability challenges. Thruline Networks invests in and assists companies from late seed through series B. Phil is an Entrepreneur in Residence and scaling manager with Mind the Bridge, the industry leading global startup acceleration program. He was a principal and program manager at BMNT, an innovation, advisory and execution firm. He also led the Naval Innovation Process Adoption program with the Office of Naval Research; mentored students in the Lean Launchpad and Hacking for Recovery courses at Stanford University; worked on the launch of
H4X Labs (an innovation and incubation support program sponsored by BMNT); and helped launch Hacking for Local – Oakland at UC Berkeley. While leading training and development for Eric Ries’ Lean Startup Company, he led Lean Startup training seminars and workshops around the world.
