Director of Palliative Medicine VETERANS ADMINISTRATION

Dr. Lou Lukas is the Medical Director of Palliative Medicine at Veterans Administration, Nebraska and Western Iowa, Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a certified psychedelic guide. She is leading a research effort that combines palliative medicine with cutting-edge psychedelic treatments intended to rapidly accelerate a person’s development of peace, acceptance, and mental and emotional flexibility while facing the psycho-spiritual distress of pancreas cancer. To that end, she coined a new term to describe her groundbreaking work: Paleodelic—which means to relieve suffering by revealing the mind. Her most recent project is an entrepreneurial venture to launch her own conscious business in an effort to do more good.
